Established in 1946 Southport Yacht Club boasts arguably the best location on the Gold Coast with 4,000 Members attending regularly at three unique locations:

o Main Beach Clubhouse complete with function centre, award winning marina, boat service facility, restaurant and bar.
o Sailing Squadron on the north shore at Hollywell with sailing academy, function centre, canteen and bar.
o Dux, a members-only private anchorage, South Stradbroke Island with caretaker, camping grounds and modern amenities.

Members participate in a number of events at Southport Yacht Club including:
Power Boat Log Events; Social Cruises; Sailing Regattas and Series; Outrigging; Boating Ceremonies and many popular social events.
