The Sailing fraternity of the Southport Yacht Club has five divisions. These include: Off the Beach - Multihulls, Dinghys, Inshore, Offshore and Etchells. A webpage has been devoted to each of these divisions which contain details regarding the upcoming events, race results and photos from these current events.
A Twilight Series is conducted every Wednesday night so come down and join in on the night time sailing fun.
Southport Yacht Club hosts the Audi Sydney to Gold Coast Yacht Race conducted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.
New boats are currently being purchased for Southport Yacht Club’s Sailing Academy and in 2008 Southport Yacht Club will be offering Corporate Sailing and School Co-curricular facilities.
