Southport Yacht Club home of the Australian Sports Boat Winter Nationals Champions.
A huge congratulation goes out to Graham (Boner) Sherring, Peter (Shady) Pritchard, Grant (Gucci) Meredith and Chris Percy for bringing home the Bling at the recent Australian Sports Boats Winter Nationals sailed at Mooloolaba Yacht Club.
Day one managed 2 races in 2.5 M seas with a solid 20 plus knots. Racing started with 16 eager punters, conditions soon reflected finishers dropping down to 12 boats. Day two made for great racing with conditions much tamer than previous, running 4 races and 2 races on the Sunday. The boys dropped a 3rd to claim their Win at ASBA Winter Nationals.
